Assuming you got the “I can do whatever I want” insurance policy. I dare you to autox it.

Was this generation a complete redesign, or just a reworked version of the old one? Because if they didn’t make significant chassis changes, then—and this is coming from someone who loaths the corolla—I doubt it.

I suspect the Corolla has higher actual handling limits, (though the understeer on the current Gen Corolla is truly epic, so maybe NOT), but the T&C has better steering (quicker ratio and tighter, though just as numb), better acceleration (that Pentastar V6 is actually quite smooth and pretty grunty), far superior brakes (pedal feel, initial bite, resistance to fading), and better controlled body motion (the lack of lean is somewhat surprising). It’s also easier to see out of, less wallowy over bumps and has better ergonomics.
The fuel economy is un-inspiring, and despite having two more gears than the Corolla’s auto the transmission is pretty...much there...? I mean, the transmission definately exists...

It’s actually the “Ford Warranty is paying for this” policy, which is the everything declined version. :/
No AX locally until May anyway.

My recent rental car experiences:
Nissan Altima: Makes a funny noise.
Toyota Corolla S: It’s a good car.
American Passat: Worse than previous generation.
